Too Faced Peaches and Cream

July 17, 2018

Too Faced launched a Peaches and Cream Collection a while ago now, which came to the UK this two month ago!
I have been playing with the products, so here’s all the details you need to know about the products I purchased.

Primed and Peachy Cooling Matte Skin Perfecting Primer
I would not say this is an excellent primer as having very oily T zone, I decided to buy it because of the reviews on it, and honestly I regret to buy it as I don't like the way it sits on the skin. As soon as you apply the foundation it starts to come off like you are exfoliating a  dead skin. It suppose to keep you matt all day long, especially if you combine it with BB cream or foundation, but for me it didn't really work.
The Primed and Peachy primer comes in a tube that has a golden pump. It is very practical and easy to use. It feels hydrating (but don’t rely on it for hydration) and gets absorbed very fast by the skin. It doesn’t leave any residue behind. It is a peachy cream but doesn’t add colour to the face and it smells gorgeous, like peaches and cream.
Verdict: Big NO NO for me.

Peach Perfect Comfort Matte Foundation
I Had not tried any foundation of Too faced before, this is the first time and I must say I do like it.  It smells like peaches and cream and looks gorgeous on the skin. Very natural and yet almost full coverage if you add a second layer. It lasts all day and it keeps oily skin matt. If it wasn’t for the lack of available shades, only 12 at the moment, the colour selection is incredibly small and I couldn’t find a shade to matches me.
Verdict: I really like it and how it leaves the skin.

Just Peachy Mattes Eyeshadow Palette
This is a gorgeous eye shadow palette that I was dying to get, watched reviews and thought I would buy it as the colours looks amazing,it smells delicious but i decided to do a look then noticed that the colours were not blending properly and it was leaving patches on my eyelid. I thought maybe it could be the eye shadow primer, so had to wipe it and use a different primer but still same problem not blending and leaving empty patches again. I just gave up and had wiped everything since then I haven't used it but i would definitely find a solution and re use it again because I really love the palettes. So i am not sure why is doing that if I'm using the wrong primer or I am not doing it properly or something is wrong with the shadows but I am not giving up until finding a solution to create a lovely look with it.
Verdict: Not sure if it is a must have palette or a NO NO

Peach Perfect Mattifying Loose Setting Powder
Again, gorgeous looking product and I love how much powder is contained in this. It’s 35g to be exact so it will last a while. After you take the lid off, the powder is secured with another plastic lid so you won’t have the typical “I spilled powder everywhere” situations. A small touch practical yes and no in same time as it is difficult to get the powder because after you open the plastic lid you get into another plastic lid with holes, arrange around a peach shape (such a nice little touch) that allows the powder to come through. But less powder comes out especially if you wanna use it to bake your under eye.
Verdict: A definite keeper product. If you use setting powders a lot give this one a try. The velvet texture, peaches and cream smell, gorgeous packaging and zero flash back will win you over.
